One till for every kind of business.

Point of sale that keeps your books, your stock and your reports up to date with every sale.

Set up each place you sell from as a selling point: a shop, a pharmacy, a cafe, a bar or a restaurant. Each one sells its own way, with only the settings it needs, and every sale is an invoice in your books the moment it is made. Try it in the demo.

Shops & supermarkets

Scan barcodes, type a quantity first, weigh loose goods or scan the scale’s label. Hold a sale, check a price and take returns against the receipt.

Pharmacies

Medicines kept in batches: the first to expire sells first and an expired one never does. Prescription details are recorded at the till and printed on the receipt.

Bakeries

Weighed and counted items, scale labels, order numbers, have in or take away, and an order ticket for whoever bakes or packs it.

Cafes

Sizes, milks and extras as options, an order number for each sale, have in or take away, and an order ticket.

Bars

Pay at the counter or run a tab under a name, and move a sale onto a tab. Tables if you have them, and an age check for alcohol.

Restaurants

Tables by area, orders sent to the kitchen as tickets, split bills by item or amount, part payments and a service charge.

At the till

Everything a counter needs

Built into every selling point, whatever kind of business it is.

Several selling points

A restaurant, a bar and a gift shop in one company, each with its own registers, warehouse and settings.

Keeps selling offline

When the internet drops, a register keeps ringing up sales and sends them when it is back.

Printers, drawers & scales

Receipt printers, cash drawers and scales straight from Chrome or Edge, with nothing to install.

Shifts & drawer counts

Open with a float, close with a count. A difference is posted for you.

Receipt numbers per till

Each register numbers its own receipts, so two tills never clash, online or offline.

Cash, card or account

Cash with change, card, split between the two, or on a named customer’s account.

Discount limits

Set the most a cashier can take off. Managers can give more.

Age checks

Mark alcohol or tobacco age-restricted and the till asks the cashier to check.

Stock from the right place

Each selling point sells from its own warehouse first, then the rest in your picking order.

Batches & expiry

The batch that expires first sells first. An expired batch is never sold.

Returns

Back against the receipt: a credit note, stock back on the shelf, cash or credit for the customer.

Straight into your books

Every sale is an invoice: tax, stock, cost of sales and reports, with nothing to export.

Questions about point of sale

Hardware, going offline, mixed businesses and price.

Read the point of sale guide

No. Point of sale runs in the browser on any computer or tablet. In Chrome or Edge it can reach a receipt printer and cash drawer over USB or a serial port (a Bluetooth printer paired with the computer counts as one), and a scale on a serial port. A printer on the network prints through the browser’s print window.

A register set to sell offline keeps ringing up sales and printing receipts. The sales are kept on that till and sent by themselves when the connection is back. Opening and closing a shift, and returns, wait for the connection.

Yes. Add each as a selling point. Each has its own registers, warehouse and settings, and its own page in the setup with only what that kind of business needs. Each register keeps its own shifts, drawer counts and receipt numbers.

Point of sale is a free app in the App Center. Stock tracking, warehouses, and batches and expiry come with the Growth plan and above. Try everything free for 14 days.

Yes, on the till’s own printer or through the browser’s print window. Sending them to a separate printer in the kitchen is not possible from a browser yet.
