Entirova System guide
Open the demoHow to run your books in Entirova, from your first invoice to the month-end close. Each page follows one part of the app, with the steps, what each status means and what it posts to the ledger.
Quick start
New to Entirova? These five steps get a new organisation ready for day-to-day work.
- Create your account and organisation. Sign up with your work email, confirm it, then name your organisation. See Signing in & organisations.
- Check your organisation settings. Company details, base currency, financial year and invoice branding live under Settings General.
- Invite your team and your accountant. Give each person a system role. See System users & system roles.
- Connect your bank accounts. Payments you record in Entirova appear on the bank feed already reconciled. See Bank feeds & reconciliation.
- Send your first invoice. Sending posts it to Accounts receivable. See Invoices & payments.
Try it without signing up. The public demo runs entirely in your browser with a sample company. Nothing you do there is saved to a server, so it is a safe place to follow along with this guide.

How Entirova keeps your books
Entirova is double-entry accounting underneath. Every document that affects your finances posts a balanced journal to the ledger when it reaches the right status, so your reports are always up to date and never need a separate "posting" step.
| You do this | Entirova posts |
|---|---|
| Send an invoice | Debit Accounts receivable, credit Sales and the tax you charged |
| Record a customer payment | Debit Bank, credit Accounts receivable |
| Approve a supplier bill | Debit the expense or stock account and input tax, credit Accounts payable |
| Pay a bill | Debit Accounts payable, credit Bank |
| Approve a pay run | Debit Wages, credit net pay and payroll liabilities |
Quotes and sales orders never touch the ledger. Drafts don't either, so you can prepare work freely and only post what is final.
Who can do what
Each person has a system role: Owner, Admin, Manager or Staff, which decides what they can do in the system, and a level in each app they have been granted (Staff, Manager or Admin), which decides what they can do there. Owners and Admins have every app in full. See System users for the full list.
